Walmart Turns the Great USA into the Next Third World Country

I regret bashing my employer like this but I have never envisioned our great USA resorting to goods made in china to prosper an American owned company as is currently happening. I am a member of tire lube express in a new england walmart with prior car shop experience prior to working at walmart and have never seen such disorganization or lack of common sense before in my life except extreme cases of greed by fly by night trucking companies.

To begin this bashing, I"ll start with how 90 % or more of merchandise sold is made in china or some third world country at inflated American prices. I know for a fact that tariff or taxes on imported goods are way down and it is cheaper to import goods into the country and still make a profit than it would be to buy off American manufactures because we as Americans have to meet all kinds of crazy EPA and government requirements whereas communist countries do not.

How long is it before all American manufactures shut down because they cannot compete with slave labor wages w/ no benefits and child labor as exists in those overseas companies. When these American companies either shut down or join the pack by outsourcing American jobs to children and desperate poor people in third world countries, where are these out of work Americans going to work, walmart, and for what wages, hours or lack of benefits.

America wake up and smell the coffee, we are being sold out by corporate interests that would rather sell out Americas soul to make millions of dollars per day than while our own country.

The USA gets turned into the next third world country where Americans cannot even afford the products being sold by these same companies because their jobs got outsourced overseas to child labor and poor uneducated peoples in third world countries for a fraction of our wages.

Wal-Mart Employees Worth More To Wal-Mart Dead

I STARTED WAL-MART STORE # 1767 IN SHALLOTTE N. C. IN 1993. WORKED THERE 10 YEARS AND WAS DISMISSED WITH 1 OTHER TOP PAYING ASSOCIATE, AND OF COURSE A FEW LOWER PAYING ASSOCIATES, STATING THE CAUSE WAS WE WERE NOT LIVING UP TO COMPANY STANDARDS.

I WON MY UNEMPLOYMENT, SAW A LAWYER, BUT I LIVE IN A "RIGHT TO WORK STATE" WHERE THEY DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A REASON TO FIRE YOU. THEY NOT ONLY FIRED US, THEY MADE IT WHERE WE COULD NEVER WORK AT WALMART AGAIN,

BUT THEY CAN STILL COLLECT 350.000 DOLLARS AT THE TIME ME OR ANY EMPLOYEE DIES. IF WE DIE IN A ACCIDENT, SOMETHING OTHER THAN NATURAL CAUSES THEY COLLECT 700.000 DOLLARS. I JUST WONDER ON AN AVERAGE DAY HOW MANY WORKERS AND EX WORKERS DIE, FOR WHAT EVER REASON AND HOW MUCH WAL- MART COLLECTS.

WITH THAT KIND OF MONEY COMING IN THEY WILL NEVER SHUT THEIR DOORS. I WAS MAKING 22.00 AN HOUR AND BECAUSE I WOULDN'T GO ON SALARY I WAS FIRED.

EVERYONE PLEASE WARN YOUR LOVED ONES, WHAT WOULD ANYONE, MUCH LESS A LARGE COMPANY DO FOR THAT KIND OF INSURANCE...

ALSO STAY CLEAR OF THE SHALLOTTE STORE, 3 PEOPLE IN PERFECT HEALTH, MY FRIENDS, DIED OF SPINAL MINENJIDUS, AN AIR BORN DEASE, BUT THEY COVERED AND HUSH IT UP, AND STATED NATURAL CAUSES...I HOPE THE B*TCH (NAME REMOVED) OF THAT STORE IS FINALLY FOUND OUT ABOUT HER ACTIONS, AND THE WAY SHE TREATS HER ASSOCIATES....THANK YOU

Geez, I Wonder Why Walmart Needs a Union?

I was put into a department manager position, after receiving none of the training I was promised.

Every time I approached a manager with an issue, they either told me not to worry about it, told me they were busy, or even turned the issue back onto me and got me in trouble for it.

One manager gave me his password and made me do his job and my own. I soon stepped down, and went to third shift. Well, first I was told to do nothing but clean.

Then, I got screamed, yelled and cussed at for doing so. THEN I started stocking, as per all the yelling and cussing. I got yelled at for that. Then a co manager walks up to me while I’m OFF THE CLOCK and starts cussing me out.

I called home office, regional team, district team, tried talking to the store manager. Even after all that, nobody did a thing to him.

He has since cussed me out several times while I was in there shopping, and I reported it, and it was once again ignored. So I send an email to all the regional guys, etc. and told them I simply wasn’t ever working and/or shopping for such a nasty place ever again. And I left.

Walmart Junked His Car. But, Hey, The Good News Is: Sales Are Up

I took my car in to the Wal-Mart automotive center in Lawrence, KS. The incorrect oil filter was installed on my car, which led to a massive oil leak, and ultimately to my engine blowing.

Wal-Mart admitted fault and referred me to their claims division, CMI, which offered me NADA value for the car, a 1982 Toyota Celica. The cost of replacing the vehicle with a comparable one far exceeded the offered amount, but I was told by CMI that it would be wrong of them to pay me any more than what the car was worth according to NADA standards.

My point is that the NADA value is based upon an actuarial table that relies primarily on what I would get if I junked the vehicle, not what the vehicle was worth at a fair market price in this area. I cannot replace the vehicle for the settlement I am being offered.

Unfortunately, legal precedent supports Wal-Mart, as it is commonly accepted that NADA or Blue Book values are appropriate for such claims. So Wal-Mart not only destroys my car and refuses to reimburse me with an operational vehicle of comparable value, or offer an amount that would allow me to do so, but they managed to do so as smugly and condescendingly as possible.

Wal-Mart Buys Off & Subsequently Silences Walmartsucks.com (Remember, we are .org)

I know what happened with the walmartsucks.com.

I am a student in the IB program and it is all explained quite nicely in our textbook. I will however, summarize for you.

The guy who started up walmartsucks.com was some guy who was a harley fanatic but he also collected beanie babies. He filed about twelve million complaints that the employees were buying up all the best collectible toys before they hit the shelves and long story short, nothing was done about it.

He got so p-ssed off that he started walmartsucks.com. Wal-Mart tried to sue him for bashing the company but he would have won because he's not using their logo and crap.

Eventually, they settled for him handing the website over to them. And that's what happened.

"What's a Woman Know About Tire & Lube, Anyways?" asked the boys at Wal-Mart, while they simultaneously sang: "Diamonds are a girl's best friend..."

i worked for walmart for years, I applied for a district manager position, and was told to wait they had big plans for me. I took a store with a 14% shrinkage and turned it into a .07% shrinkage.

Was I promoted. Someone else was promoted.

Finally I took a position in another city and was promoted to DM of an area I was not familar with. I then hated my job so I quit before they could fire me for not being familar with that aspect of my job. You may have guessed by now I am a woman and a man was promoted to DM over tire and Lube which I trained.

They stuck me in Jewelry. The figured a man knew more about Tire and Lube and a women knew more about Jewelry. The tire and lube DM is a higher paying position, I got stuck with taking a decrease in paying, with the promise of a raise that never happened.
